Areas of Speciality
ISD only responds to search requests from the Spokane County Sheriff’s department. If you are in need of search dog services, please contact them by calling 911.
About Our Team
All members of ISD are trained in first aid and CPR. Most members are also certified in wilderness emergency first aid and can provide immediate life support to injured victims.
ISD team members all meet the Washington State WAC requirements for search and rescue and are trained in backcountry travel, map and compass, GPS, summer and winter survival, and search and rescue operations.
