Dispatch Information
ISD only responds to search requests from the Spokane County Sheriff’s department. If you are in need of search dog services, please contact the Spokane Police department or the Spokane County Sheriff's department.

About Our Team
Intermountain Search Dogs of Spokane, Washington train search dogs to assist with search and rescue efforts in both urban and wilderness settings.

ISD dogs are trained for trailing, tracking, air scenting, and shoreline searches.
ISD team members are trained in backcountry travel including map and compass, global positioning system (GPS), backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, summer survival, winter survival, man tracking, and search and rescue operations.

All members of ISD have a minimum certification of advanced first aid or first responder. Most members are certified in wilderness emergency first aid and can provide immediate life support to injured victims.
